Stamper the Bear is located at 50 Barrie Street, Bradford Ontario Canada in front of the Canada Post Office building. The wooden bear statue was commissioned by the Bond Head and District Horticultural Society in 2010, carving was done by V. Donnelly.
When you think of any heritage property, barns, houses, old buildings that you see, it’s a struggle for any community to decide what gets protected and what doesn’t. History is time and time changes things. Bradford West Gwillimbury resident came out to celebrate the fall season and the opening of Henderson Memorial Park at the First Annual Pumpkin Fest on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 11 am to 3 pm at the new Henderson Memorial Park (3171 9th Line) There were several activities available all free of charge to event participants. Activities Bradford Lions BBQ Fundraiser, 1st Bradford Scouts – Celebrating Apple Day and providing hot drinks for a donation BWG Fire & Emergency Services: Fire Prevention Week education and activities , Inflatable Corn Maze, Farmland and Slide Music by Russ Clayton, Puppet Show, Music & entertainment by Team T & J, Entertainment by Circus Jonathan & Lucy Loop Face Painting, Pumpkin Carving & Decorating, Games & Colouring.
This event will also gave residents the opportunity get a sneak preview of the newly constructed Henderson Memorial Park. #BWGPumpkinfest

From educating the History of town to the residents thru old pictures, fundraising and my current photography to help promote the Town of BWG on my own time over the last 20+ Years.
- I am truly honored and humbled to have accepted this award for Outstanding Achievement in BWG for 2017, thank you to the Community of Bradford West Gwillimbury and to all of Town Council that appreciates what I have done and what I will continue to do. The basic, local organisational unit of Freemasonry is the Lodge. The Bradford Masonic Hall Simcoe Lodge #79 G.R.C Founded 1857 Simcoe Lodge No. 79 G.R.C. celebrated its 160th anniversary in 2017, having been instituted on September 10, 1857. At that time Worshipful Brother J.W.H. Wilson became the first Lodge Master. Freemasonry has a 300 year history in Ontario, and is described as “the oldest and largest fraternal organization in the world.”
